Water Treatment

Water is treated through various procedures using chemicals to purify water. An algaecide is a chemical which, when added to water, kills algae and blue-green algae. Some examples of common algaecides include copper sulphate, iron and rosin amine salts. A variety of procedures can be applied for the treatment of water.
Calcium hydroxide hydrated lime (Ca (OH2), carbon dioxide (CO2), coagulant hydrated aluminum sulphate (alum) Al2(SO4)3, coagulant aid polyelectrolyte, ozone (O3) and sodium hypochlorite (liquid chlorine) NaOCL help achieve optimal pH levels for particle coagulation, maintain residue and disinfecting capacities and alter the chemical properties of water, making it acceptable for end use.
- HWB 3030 L – Is a solution of corrosion inhibitors and dispersants designed for use in closed hot and chilled water systems
- HWB 3030 – Is a powder and blend of inhibitors and dispersants designed as a corrosion inhibitor in closed chilled water and hot water systems
- LC 57M – Liquid Is used to prevent corrosion and fouling in closed cooling or heating systems. Prevents corrosion due to dissolved oxygen and keeps closed heating or cooling loops free of scale.
- LC 1825 – Liquid Is a biocide designed for cooling towers. The active ingredients are a blend of quaternary amino zinc compounds
- RLT 300 M – Liquid Is a water-white, clear liquid blend of neutralising amine to prevent corrosion in steam condensate systems. It evaporates with the water in a boiler and neutralises CO2 when the steam Condenses.
- RLT 1530 MC – Liquid Is a water-white, clear liquid blend of neutralising amine designed for return line. Treatment in boilers of pressures above 150 psig, and for feed waters with high carbonate (MAlkalinity) content. It evaporates with the water in a boiler and neutralises CO2 when the steam condenses.
- SBT 3020 L – Is a liquid blend of phosphate, alkalinity, antifoam and dispersants designed as a single boiler water treatment for low pressure boilers. It can be pumped directly into the feed water line or directly into the boiler
- SBT 3020 – Powder is a blend of phosphate, sulphite, alkalinity, antifoam and dispersants designed as a single boiler water treatment for low-pressure fire tube boilers. It be dissolved in water at about a 10% solution and fed to the boiler or the feed water line.
- WT 25 L – Is a liquid alkali builder for boiler water treatment. It can be pumped directly into de-aerator storage or the feed water line. It can also be fed with phosphate or sulphite.
- WT 100 – Is an alkali builder for boiler water treatment.
- WT 475 L – Is a liquid blend of phosphate, silicate, antifoam and dispersants for boiler water treatment of high hardness and low silica make up water
- WT 475 P – Powder is a blend of phosphate, silicate, antifoam and dispersants for boiler water treatment of high hardness and low silica make up water
- WT 940 L – Is a liquid blend of phosphate, antifoam and dispersants, designed for boiler water treatment where the hardness of the feed water is low
- WT 940 P – Powder is a blend of phosphate, antifoam and dispersants, designed for boiler water treatment where the hardness of the feed water is low
- WT 1000 L – Liquid is a corrosion inhibitor and oxygen scavenger for boiler water treatment
- WT 1000 S – Powder Is a corrosion inhibitor and oxygen scavenger for boiler water treatment
- WT 1500 L – Is a liquid dispersant for boiler water treatment mainly employed during on-line scale removal.
- WT 2000 L – Is a liquid defoamer designed to eliminate priming in boilers that at times operate with higher than recommended maximum M-alkalinity or TDS
