Mining

Mining chemicals are used as emulsifying agents in oil based drilling fluids for drilling and mining purposes. They play a major role in enhancing the efficiency of mining processes, for the recovery and extraction of targeted mineral from ore. They not only support the drilling procedure, but also accelerate productivity. They also minimize water loss from drilling fluid (e.g. fluid loss), and from swelling (e.g.shale inhibitors). Additives in this category include: lubricants, biocides, defoamers, emulsifiers and shale inhibitors.
